August 2015 Update

I played a show at House of Blues last month - solo acoustic guitar set.  Went really well, decent turn-out, Roni Lee was the host so that was awesome and she was very nice and seemed to enjoy my music and style!

I do not have any other shows booked for this year, but working on at least one more solo show. Also, still looking around for a drummer to try and put another band together.  Let me know if you know anyone.....

In the meantime, please listen to the music on the site, check out the videos and enjoy life!

It's down to me

Isn't that a Rolling Stones song?  Anyway, better late than never, The Mike MIchaels Program is down to me.  I had a good run with Will and Brad - 3 years is pretty good longevity for a band.....

My thanks to Will and Brad for thier committment and support.  We didn't end up on a positive note, unfortunately, but that does not take away from 3 years of making good music.

I'm in the process of writing new material, getting ready for a solo show and looking for musicians to form a new band.  I will let you know how it goes.  Any musicians - bass and drums - interested in potentially playing with TMMP can contact me at

Them Changes

Change is inevitable, although not always pleasant.  The Mike Michaels Program is experiencing technical difficulties right now.  We will not be playing the scheduled shows on August 30 and September 20 at the Parkway Bar.  We greatly appreciate the Parkway Bar, Katie has been so good to us and we hope all of you will visit the Parkway Bar early and often and enjoy a few drinks and great live music.

TMMP will be playing The Point Music Film Festival on Saturday, November 8.  Please get your tickets before they sell out - it's an intimate venue and it will sell out.

Thank you for your continued support.  Please stand by for updates on new programming.  Stay tuned.
